On the C train....

Did you ever notice the serious aaa-ti-tuuude of the stick figure holding the doors? *shoulders up, "I'm comin IN!"*

JANAY. Her bookbag was stellar. It had that multiple-pocket, old-school look i love.

Check out the exquisite combination of colors, patterns, AND textures. And of course, she's a natural beauty.

Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds

Lucy ("shy" pose) :)

Lucy in her adorable patent mary janes and burberry-esque apron dress. Also the black tights and turtleneck are a perfect compliment. All courtesy of her mum :)

She's a beautiful free spirited child!

Men's Antique Fashion

"Spats" at 125th street

Anthony Reyes

He wears 19th century clothing and is always found with these spectacles. When he was getting his passport photo done the employees ran around trying to get various angles to avoid the glare of the vintage spectacles. It took multiple attempts.

When a friend dies...but they're still on facebook.

I don't know what the protocol is on this. My friend Lancelee Trimm died this weekend. I just found out today. Decided I'd do him a little tribute. He was also a decidedly dapper gentleman forever with his big apple cap, trousers, waistcoat and chain. Unfortunately, I never got the chance to use my camera to take a pic myself, so I'll borrow from the man himself, who was a very talented photag. For example...

This pic reveals his artistic eye

That's how i remember him. Edwin well-said "This man had a clean heart I can tell"...you can see it here.

Always stylin

This is me. It's the last pic he commented on facebook saying we should have a jam session. I agreed.

He was also a multi-instrumentalist (he was very generous with his gifts, taking the time to teach me vibraphone:). Notice all the instruments in the pic with the Christmas tree.

Lancelee James Trimm

 Peace brother.

Wednesdays with Patrick...on Tuesday ;)

Patrick

Manolo Blahniks. We both agreed how much nicer the shoe is in a chocolate brown.

The perfect pant length for khakis. I asked who he goes to and he said, "darling I have my ways." Love it.
